What's new
Changes to CorpusKit Cloud and its portals, newest first.
Questions about a change? Email hello@corpuskit.cloud.
Delete a document
- Managers can delete a document from its page, from Recent additions or from Corpus health.
- One confirmation names the document and says what deleting it removes.
- Investigations keep the evidence they drew from it, with its passage and notes.
Replies reach our team
- Reply to any CorpusKit Cloud email and it reaches our team at hello@corpuskit.cloud.
- Reminders before a trial ends, and the email when it becomes read-only, offer "Talk to us about keeping it".
- That button starts an email to us with your portal named in the subject.
Search answers show how sure they are
- Search answers carry the same confidence level, citations and checked figures as Ask.
- Figures to check against the sources are marked in the answer.
See answers readers found unhelpful
- Insights lists the answers readers marked unhelpful, with the comment they left.
- Ask again runs the same question, so you can see the difference after adding or fixing documents.
Clear reasons when a job stops
- When a website sync, summary run or knowledge graph run stops, Manage shows the reason it gave.
- A source's sync log stays in place, so you can see how far it got.
Accessible colours and focus
- New portals start on the CorpusKit library palette, designed for WCAG AA contrast.
- Links and text drawn on a portal's own colours are adjusted to meet AA contrast.
- Keyboard focus is clearly visible on buttons and the question fields, including in high contrast mode.
- Owners can choose another palette from the library under Appearance.
Adding documents
- "Add documents" appears in the Library, on the portal home page and in Manage.
- The add panel is open from the start, with a drop zone and room for several files at once.
- Each file shows its upload progress, then processing and ready, or the reason it failed.
- Library counts update as documents arrive, without a reload.
Drafts stay with your team
- Documents and links saved as drafts stay out of readers' view, in the Library and its filters.
- Hide, in Manage, takes a published document back out of readers' view.
- Readers see a draft once a manager publishes it.
Data retention and deletion
- Account, trial and sign-in records are deleted automatically, on the schedule in our privacy notice.
- When a trial portal is deleted, its sessions, investigations, members and activity log go with it.
- Email hello@corpuskit.cloud to have your details, or your organisation's, deleted sooner.
Single sign-on
- Your organisation can sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace or another OpenID Connect provider.
- We set it up with you on request, and your people then sign in with their work account.
- Signing in from your portal brings you back to the page you started on.
Clearer emails
- Every email from CorpusKit Cloud arrives in the CorpusKit design, with a plain text version alongside.
- Each one opens with a heading and labels its buttons, and sign-in links are shown in full as well.
Choose where documents are stored
- The trial request shows where your documents, their index and the knowledge graph will be stored.
- Australia (Sydney) is the default, and other regions are available on request.
- Your setup page and the portal-ready email name the region.
Your own web address
- Your portal can use your organisation's own web address, such as research.yourorg.au.
- Owners add it under Your web address, then add the two DNS records shown there.
- The first address you connect becomes the portal's main address, and yourname.corpuskit.cloud forwards to it.
- Included with Hosted and Managed.
